HCF-112 |
HCF-112 Fuel Filter
The HCF-112 is designed for protecting critical engine components in Natural Gas Vehicles(NGV).
Contaminants can be introduced into the vehicle's fuel tank when being fueled. Contaminants may come from CNG compressor and storage facilities.
The HCF-112 coalescing filter is specifically designed to remove oil, water and solid contamination from compressed natural gas.
Coalescing filters are constructed to withstand operating pressures to 3600 psi.
These coalescing filters remove over 95% of aerosols in the 0.3 to 0.6 micron range.
HCF-112 passed the test CNG fuel filter performance requirements of ANSI/AGA NGV3.1-1995/CGA 12.3-M95, "Fuel System Components for Natural Gas Powered Vehicles" through Canada Powertech Labs Inc(Independent inspection agency for NGV component testing).

Construction & Component

Filter Element(HCE-112)
HCE-112 is constructed of three layers.
Inside Layer remove dirt particles first and balanced contaminants particles are coalesced at the Middle Layer. Coalescing contaminants is drained at the Outside Layer.

Typical Application
Locate the HCF-112 between the regulator and fuel tank to allow coalescing and filtration at tank pressure. This also provides protection to the fuel regulator.
